On top of this, the dustbin is said to have a new barrier design to ensure dust is trapped inside. Using an LDS laser navigation system, the robot can move in zigzag or Y-shaped patterns as it cleans. Plus, sensors help it to detect and avoid obstacles such as your pet or shoes. Controls are offered via the Mi Home or Xiaomi Home app, where you can adjust maps, remotely start cleaning or set up a schedule. Alternatively, you can control the robot with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands.
