Tenda CH7-WCA 5MP Outdoor Pan/Tilt Wi-Fi 6 Security Camera

The reason most people give up on a security camera is the flood of pointless alerts, so this one uses deep-learning detection to tell a person or a vehicle apart from a moth crossing the lens or a branch moving in the wind. The Tenda CH7-WCA records 5MP video at 2880x1620 through a 4mm F1.6 lens, pans 355 degrees and tilts 90 so there is no blind corner, and tracks a moving person automatically once it spots them. When it detects an intruder it does not just notify you: a white light flashes and a siren sounds while the alert reaches your phone. Night vision runs to 30 metres in full colour, black and white, or automatic. Key Features 5MP 3K video: 2880x1620 through a 4mm F1.6 wide-aperture lens. It connects to your network over Wi-Fi, but it still needs mains power from the included adapter, so plan the mounting spot around a socket. It is not a battery camera. Is a memory card included? No. It takes a Micro SD card up to 512GB, which you buy separately, or you can record to cloud, an NVR, or a NAS instead. Will it keep recording when the power cuts? No. Like any mains-powered camera it stops when the electricity does, and it also needs the router running for alerts. Worth pairing with a UPS if outages are frequent where you are.
