Tenda Nova EX12 Whole Home Gigabit Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System (3-Pack)

Build a unified home or office network with the Tenda Nova EX12 Whole Home Gigabit Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System 3-Pack. It combines three mesh nodes with dual-band AX3000 Wi-Fi, three Gigabit Ethernet ports per node, WPA3-SAE/WPA2-PSK security, and router or access-point modes. The listed coverage is up to 650m², but actual coverage and speed depend on the building layout, walls, interference, client devices, and internet service. Key Features Wi-Fi 6 AX3000: Supports IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax with listed combined rates of up to 2402Mbps on 5GHz and 574Mbps on 2.4GHz. Actual throughput varies by device and network conditions. Three-Node Mesh System: The 3-pack is listed for coverage of up to 650m². Placement and building construction affect the usable coverage. Gigabit Ethernet: Each node has three Gigabit RJ45 ports for compatible wired devices and Ethernet backhaul. Wi-Fi 6 Features: Includes OFDMA, MU-MIMO, beamforming, and 1024-QAM support for compatible devices. Mesh Roaming: Supports IEEE 802.11k/v roaming to help compatible devices move between nodes. Handover behavior depends on the device and network conditions. Network Security: Supports WPA3-SAE and WPA2-PSK security modes. Ethernet Backhaul: Nodes can use compatible Ethernet cabling for the backhaul in supported network layouts. App Management: The Tenda Wi-Fi app supports listed functions such as guest networking, parental controls, URL filtering, and firmware updates. A: No. 650m² is the listed maximum coverage for the 3-pack. Walls, floors, interference, node placement, client devices, and local network conditions can reduce coverage and speed. Q: Do I need a separate modem? A: You need a modem or ISP-provided modem/router connection for the primary EX12 node. The system can operate in Router or Access Point mode depending on the network setup. Q: Can I use Ethernet between the nodes? A: The EX12 supports Ethernet backhaul in compatible network layouts. Use suitable Ethernet cabling and follow the installation guide. Q: Will every device reach AX3000 speeds? A: No. The AX3000 rating describes the system's combined wireless class. Actual speed depends on the connected device, band, distance, interference, internet plan, and network configuration.
